A new and refreshing coffee house located on the square in the Helen Georgia walking district, Higher Ground celebrated it’s grand opening in August 2009. We have worked deligently with our local Roaster, and using the best Arabica coffee beans from different regions we've found the perfect combination to brew the Higher Ground Signature Blend.

With such a smorgasbord of coffees, it is rare to find a single variety that has the perfect balance of body and acidity. Blending is the art of choosing a particular taste profile and finding the right combination of different types of beans that will result in the most well-balanced and complex coffee possible. Whether we are brewing a cup of our House Blend or cappuccino with our house 3 bean espresso, it is an amazingly smooth blend.



Patricia and her staff are dedicated to providing a fresh coffee experience. Higher Ground Coffee plans to pour something new and refreshing back into the community with its free wireless service and local artist creations that are available for purchase.

Coffee is considered the interactive beverage, you, the coffee drinker affect how your cup will taste….please no cream or sugar, at least until you taste our coffee first.
